Before You Adopt from Wiener Tales

Please understand that these dogs can only go to pre-approved homes. Although we are privately run, we are the WA reps for AHDRS and we abide by their guidelines strictly. Any animals you currently have as family members should be current on vaccinations, altered, and your veterinary and personal references will be checked along with a home visit. Those of us involved in rescue do everything we possibly can to assure that each dog is going to it's "forever" home. Many have been in more than one home, and it is our top priority to assure that each dog is placed into a home where they will be properly taken care of with required vaccinations, flea preventatives, and proper diet and training. Adoption fees cover our medical costs for foster dogs, whether it is the one you are applying for or a general medical fund, we do not profit off of any of our fosters. Our foster dogs are treated with Frontline, wormed, current on vaccines, heartworm preventative (when required for traveling etc...), altered, and training has begun on any behavioral/social issues, including, but not limited to house-training, crate, and leash training.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A SPECIFIC TYPE OF DOG... FEMALE/MALE, LONG HAIR, YOUNG, ADULT... ETC, PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AND WE CAN PUT YOU ON A LIST. WHEN NEW FOSTERS COME INTO RESCUE, PRE-APPROVED ADOPTERS HAVE PRIORITY OVER NEW APPLICANTS.
